The Best Easy Garlic Shrimp

Whether you live in a house on wheels, like us, or in a traditional home, these shrimp are perfect for an appetizer or as a main course.

You’ll need:⁠
1 1/2 Tbsp Butter⁠
1 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil⁠
4 cloves Garlic, peeled and sliced thin⁠
1/2 Tbsp Red Chili Pepper Flakes⁠
1 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined⁠

1️⃣ In a large skillet, melt the butter with the olive oil over medium-low heat.⁠
2️⃣ Add the garlic and cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes, careful not to let the garlic burn.⁠
3️⃣ When your stomach growls because of the smell of the cooking garlic, add the shrimp to the pan. Toss the shrimp in the garlic butter/oil until it is pink on all sides, about 3 minutes.⁠
4️⃣ Toss in the chili pepper flakes and serve.⁠

We enjoyed this easy dinner with cauliflower “grits” and wilted spinach.⁠ It can easily be served on top of pasta or rice or on its own as an easy appetizer.
