We chose Pla-Mor Campground in Bremen, Indiana, because of its proximity to Wood Design RV Interiors, the business doing our renovation work, but we wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we are in the area.
The campsites are large, and many of them are pull-throughs. There are sections of seasonal sites and even a few tiny homes on the property, but all appear well kept. For being thirty years old, the park looks pretty well-maintained.
They offer many amenities, including a swimming pool, catch & release fishing pond, 200-yard driving range, miniature golf, playground, and horseshoe pits. Unfortunately, they do not have a dog park.☹️ But there are plenty of park roads to walk your dog and several areas of the park where you could run your dog.
They offer some planned activities, including Kid’s Craft Saturdays. When we were there, it was one of two Halloween weekends. Several events were scheduled over the two weekends, and many campers got into the spirit with decorations. Additionally, they have a camp store and snack bar where you can purchase ice and firewood. L.P. gas and a dump station are also available. And they are willing to accept packages for full-time RVers like us. 😄
A word of warning: not all campsites have gravel. We saw a few places where people may have had issues getting their vehicles stuck in the mud. When you make your reservations, keep this in mind.
This park is located off US Hwy 6 between Bremen and Nappanee, Indiana, in the heart of Amish country near Newmar RV Factory, Notre Dame University, and Shipshewana Flea Market.
